2015-16 Outlook:

The Nets are the worst run team in the NBA. No, I don’t think they’re the worst team, just the worst run. It won’t take long for them to be the worst team if things don’t change though. After years of disappointment, they finally bought out their “star” player Deron Williams. Also leaving were decent role players Alan Anderson, Mason Plumlee, and Mirza Teletovic. With Williams gone and Joe Johnson in his mid 30’s, this is now Brook Lopez’s team. That doesn’t sound too inspiring.

Don’t worry though. They brought in former number one overall pick and NBA superstar Andrea Bargnani to provide some scoring of the bench. His career 44% shooting from the Center position is sure to help this team finish with one of the twelve best records in the Eastern Conference. If Bargnani doesn’t excite you, maybe you’d like to hear about the two guards they brought in. Shane Larkin and Wayne Ellington played for the Kicks and Lakers last year, two of the premier franchises in the NBA, so you know they know how to win.

There doesn’t look like much of a future for Brooklyn. There’s really no young talent on this team. Who knew trading all your first round picks away would be a bad idea? They still have some older talent though. Those veterans will make sure this team won’t be¬†completely awful but¬†it will be a struggle for them to be in playoff contention.

2015-16 Projected Record: 32-50
