2015-16 Outlook:

The Clippers had another good regular season last year winning fifty six games. Then they defeated the defending champs, the Spurs, in the first round of the playoffs. In the second round they went up to 3 games to 1 on the Rockets but ended up blowing the series. They just can’t seem to get past the second round. Can they do it this year?

The Clippers bench was awful last year. They set out this offseason to change that. First, they got rid of some of the under-performers. Spencer Hawes, Hedo Turkoglu, and Big Baby Davis are no longer part of the team. Addition by subtraction is what the Clippers are hoping for.

That’s not all they did to improve the bench though. They brought in a bunch of guys in free agency including Paul Pierce, Josh Smith, and Wesley Johnson. The bench still isn’t great but should be much improved. They had the best starting lineup in the NBA and now they’ve added Lance Stephenson. Yes, he was awful last year but two years ago he was a key player for a championship contender. He can be that once again this year.

The Clippers will be good again. Did they improve enough to get past the other great teams in the west? I think they have a chance.

2015-16 Projected Record: 58-24
