2015-16 Outlook:

The Magic are as bad as the Sixers but sadly they’re actually trying. In the three years since they traded Dwight Howard, they have finished with one of the bottom five records every year. Those three years of awful have got them Victor Oladipo, Aaron Gordon, and Mario Hezonja. Should we expect great things from that core. What will we see from them this year?

There isn’t a whole lot of change in Orlando. The biggest change is at head coach, where Scott Skiles takes over for Jacque Vaughn. Skiles is a veteran coach who knows how to get his teams to play defense. I think he’s the perfect coach to get this team back to the postseason. Then after a few playoff exits he’ll be fired. That’s Scott Skiles’ thing.

This team really does have a nice young core. In addition to Oladipo, Gordon, and Hezonja, they also have Nikola Vucevic, Tobias Harris, and Elfrid Payton. All of those guys are under 25. The future does look bright in Orlando. I think they’re still too young though. They’re sill a year away from getting back to the playoffs.

2015-16 Projected Record: 31-51
