2015-16 Outlook:

The Suns were a big disappointment last year. After winning 48 games in 2013-14, they finished under .500 last year. The had a young team. They were supposed to get better. Was last year just an anomaly or has this team blown its chance?

One of the Suns’ biggest strengths these last couple years has been depth. They let go of a couple guys who gave them a lot of solid minutes recently. Gerald Green was their best player at times but now he’s gone. Phoenix traded Marcus Morris, seemingly to anger his twin brother Markieff. They’ll definitely miss those two guys but it should open up opportunities for some of their younger guys.

Phoenix did get better inside though. They brought in Tyson Chandler at center. He’s not going to score a lot but he’s always a good contributor. You know he’s going to rebound and defend well. They also brought in the former Net, Mirza Teletovic. Teletovic is listed as a power forward but he plays outside. He’s a great three point shooter for a forward.

Phoenix began last year with Goran Dragic and Isaiah Thomas joining Eric Bledsoe at point guard. They were both traded during the season and it’s now definitely Bledsoe’s team. He’s such an exciting talent and could lead an improved team to the playoffs.

2015-16 Projected Record: 42-40
