2015 MLB Season in Review – Cleveland Indians

CLEVELAND_INDIANS_LOGO_22015 Record: 81-80

Preseason Projection: 92-70

Runs Per Game: 4.16 (18th)

Team ERA: 3.67 (8th)

Run Differential: +29 (12th)

What Went Right:

Jason Kipnis was fantastic. Francisco Lindor might have won Rookie of the Year if he came up a little earlier. Michael Brantley had another good season.

Carlos Carrasco had some nice strikeout numbers. Danny Salazar was solid as well. Cody Allen was a really goo closer.

What Went Wrong:

Mike Aviles and Nick Swisher were terrible. Michael Bourn had another bad year. Brandon Moss did nothing. Yan Gomes got hurt and wasn’t the same when he came back.

Player to Watch?:

Corey Kluber had great peripheral numbers but his ERA was a full run higher this year.

There’s Always Next Year:

The Indians still have a deep and talented rotation and some really good young position players. They need to find a way to build a better offense.

How Did We Do:

We had the Indians winning the American League and that wasn’t even close to happening.
