The Rams quarterback situation always seems to be a mess. No matter how hard they try to shore it up it ends up falling apart somehow. This year they finally gave up on Sam Bradford trading him for another frequently injured QB, Nick Foles. Rather on focusing on improving the passing game the Rams decided to try and build a top notch running game. They drafted a potential star running back in the first round and then took two offensive lineman with their next two picks. If Foles gets hurt none of it will matter. The offense would still be among the worst.
This defense has been incredibly disappointing. They have so much talent yet they only finished 16th last year. In the offseason they added a couple of solid defenders in Fairley and Ayers. This could be the year where the defense really becomes elite. Their defensive line should be absolutely incredible with the addition of Fairley.
The Rams have been bad for awhile but it always seems like they’re on the cusp of becoming a good team. Is this year they finally do it? The defense could be great but I don’t see the offense even being average. They might win more games this year but the playoffs are still unlikely.
