The New England Patriots will start their season without Quarterback Tom Brady.
Brady was suspended without pay for the first four games of the regular season on Monday afternoon. Brady is said to have violated the NFL’s policy on integrity of the game. Arguably the greatest QB of all time, Brady will have to watch these games from his home, as last year’s second round draft pick, Jimmy Garoppolo tries to lead the Patriots to victory.
In addition to the suspension of Brady, the team has been fined 1 Million dollars, and will also forfeit a 2016 first round draft pick and a 2017 fourth round pick. Patriot’s owner, Robert Kraft, already stated last week that he believes his team has done nothing inappropriate or in violation of the league rules.
Tom Brady will make his return against the Indianapolis Colts in week 6.
