Do Not Draft

1. DeAndre Hopkins

DEANDRE_HOPKINS_TEXANS

Hopkins is a proven top 10 fantasy WR, but we aren’t very confident in him this season. We don’t think Brock is a good quarterback, and a bad quarterback makes the receivers job very difficult. Expect Hopkins’ numbers to go down this season

2. Brandon Marshall

Marshall is in the same boat as Hopkins. Marshall’s quarterback, Ryan Fitzpatrick, is coming off the best year of his career. We don’t expect him to put up those numbers again. And with Brandon Marshall getting older we expect him to have a down season. Don’t expect another double digit touchdown season from him.

3. Brandin Cooks

We think Brees is due for a decline. He also likes to spread the ball around which makes it difficult for a single receiver to put up exceptional numbers. So this should result in a dip in Cooks numbers.

4. Sammy Watkins

Watkins has exceptional talent, but he’s too much of an injury risk. He unfortunately might be one of those good talents who just can’t escape the injury bug. He’s worth drafting as a #3 at best receiver on your team.

Sleepers

1. Allen Hurns

ALLEN_HURNS_JAGUARS

Hurns had a huge season for Jacksonville last year and isn’t getting any love. I fully expect him to put on another great receiving performance in this upcoming season. You could STEAL this guy late in your draft if people don’t know what  they’re doing.

2. Markus Wheaton

With Martavis Bryant out for the season expect Wheaton to see a lot of throws. He has the best WR in the league (Antonio Brown) on the other side of the field, which means he’ll be going against the 2nd best corner that the opposing team has to offer. Steal this man late if you can.

3. Rishard Matthews

Matthews isn’t a name too many people know but he’ll start for the Titans. They’re a bad team but they have a good young quarterback.
