2015 Outlook:

The Astros haven’t been good in what seems like forever. They won’t be good again this year but they likely won’t be a bad team either. They added a few veterans to a lineup full of young talent including, 2014 AL batting champ Jose Altuve and George Springer.

The starting rotation has some interesting young pitchers, including a pair of 27 year olds who finished the year with ERAs under 3.00 last year, Dallas Keuchel and Collin McHugh. Even with their improvements, this team is still one looking towards its future, with arguably the top prospect in baseball, Carlos Correa, and the former number one overall pick, Mark Appel, waiting in the minor leagues.

Player to Watch: George Springer

Springer hit 20 home runs in half a season as a rookie. He should develop into one of the best power hitters in the league.

2015 Projected Record: 75-87
