NFL Power Rankings – Week 13

The Panthers are still undefeated, just barely. Have they finally achieved the number one spot in our rankings?

  1. Carolina Panthers (12-0)

  2. Arizona Cardinals (10-2)

  3. New England Patriots (10-2)  ROB_GRONKOWSKI_PATRIOTS

The Patriots held the top spot in our rankings for so long but after two consecutive losses we’ve dropped them to third. We still think they’re the top team in the league at full strength but there’s no guarantee that Edelman will be back at 100 percent. They’ll need those guys back if they want to repeat as champs.

  4. Cincinnati Bengals (10-2)

  5. Denver Broncos (10-2)

  6. Green Bay Packers (8-4)

  7. Kansas City Chiefs (7-5)

  8. Seattle Seahawks (7-5)

  9. Minnesota Vikings (8-4)

  10. Pittsburgh Steelers (7-5)

  11. New York Jets (7-5)

  12. Indianapolis Colts (6-6) MATT_HASSELBECK_COLTS

The Colts are 4-1 with Matt Hasselbeck as starting quarterback. They were 4-0 before Sunday night’s destruction at the hands of the Steelers. The Colts still have a great chance at making the playoffs but they’re just not good, with Hasselbeck or Andrew Luck.

  13. Buffalo Bills (6-6)

  14. Houston Texans (6-6)

  15. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-6)

  16. Oakland Raiders (5-7)

  17. Atlanta Falcons (6-6) JULIO_JONES_FALCONS

Remember when the Falcons were 6-1. They haven’t won since. All their games seem to be close but they just can’t outscore their opponents any more. This is the team we expected coming into the season though. Atalanta probably won’t make the playoffs but they’re not one of the worst teams in the league either.

  18. New York Giants (5-7)

  19. Chicago Bears (5-7)

  20. Philadelphia Eagles (5-7)

  21. Washington Redskins (5-7)

  22. Detroit Lions (4-8)

  23. Miami Dolphins (5-7)

  24. St. Louis Rams (4-8)

  25. Baltimore Ravens (4-8)

  26. Dallas Cowboys (4-8)

  27. New Orleans Saints (4-8)

  28. San Diego Chargers (3-9)

  29. Tennessee Titans (3-9)MARCUS_MARIOTA_TITANS

The Titans just had a big win over division rival Jacksonville last week. The problem is that they’re 1-9 against every other team. The Titans are not good but at least it looks like they have a quarterback for the future. Marcus Mariota has 19 touchdowns in 10 games.

  30. Jacksonville Jaguars (4-8)

  31. San Francisco 49ers (4-8)

  32. Cleveland Browns (2-10)

Tony’s Thursday Night Pick

The Vikings coming off a horrible loss against Seattle last week travel to the desert to face perhaps the best team in the NFL, the Arizona Cardinals. This seems like matchup of two teams going in opposite directions. However, Minnesota has actually played well on the road. I think their defense will be able to keep it close and maybe Adrian Peterson will break off a big run.

The Pick: Vikings +9
