NFL Power Rankings – Week 14

The Panthers continue to impress, the Patriots are back to winning, and one of the top contenders just lost their starting quarterback. Where does every team rank now?

  1. Carolina Panthers (13-0)

  2. Arizona Cardinals (11-2)

The Cardinals might be the best team in the league. Carolina has been slightly more impressive but Arizona has still been great this year. The Arizona offense, led by Carson Palmer, has been the best in the game. Their receiving group is so deep and a big reason why Palmer is in the MVP race.

The defense has been really good as well. They’re second in turnovers forced. This is a legitimate title contender and we can’t wait for them to play the Panthers.

  3. New England Patriots (11-2)

  4. Green Bay Packers (9-4)

  5. Seattle Seahawks (8-5)

  6. Cincinnati Bengals (10-3)

  7. Kansas City Chiefs (8-5)

  8. Pittsburgh Steelers (8-5)

  9. Denver Broncos (10-3)

  10. New York Jets (8-5)

  11. Minnesota Vikings (8-5)

  12. Buffalo Bills (6-7)

  13. Oakland Raiders (6-7)

  14. Philadelphia Eagles (6-7)

  15. New York Giants (6-7)

This team isn’t bad but no one wants to see them in the playoffs. Well, I wouldn’t mind seeing Odell Beckham Jr. but the rest of the team isn’t too interesting. Beckham has carried this team and they’re actually one of the highest scoring teams in the league. They still shouldn’t be in the playoff raceODELL_BECKHAM_JR_GIANTS_2

  16. Indianapolis Colts (6-7)

  17. Houston Texans (6-7)

  18. Washington Redskins (6-7)

  19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-7)

  20. Chicago Bears (5-8)

  21. Atlanta Falcons (6-7)

  22. St. Louis Rams (4-9)

The silver lining for this Rams season has been the play of Todd Gurley. He might be the best running back in the league already. The Rams need a QB though. Even the best running backs can’t make an offense good without decent QB play.

TODD_GURLEY_RAMSThe big story in St. Louis though, is that they might not be in St. Louis next year. Will a move to LA get the Rams back to the playoffs? Not unless they improve the QB situation.

  23. Detroit Lions (4-9)

  24. Jacksonville Jaguars (5-8)

  25. Miami Dolphins (5-8)

  26. New Orleans Saints (5-8)

  27. Baltimore Ravens (4-9)

  28. Dallas Cowboys (4-9)

  29. San Diego Chargers (3-10)

  30. Tennessee Titans (3-10)

  31. Cleveland Browns (3-10)

  32. San Francisco 49ers (4-9)

The 49ers lost to the Browns last week. That’s not good. The Browns has been our last ranked team for almost the whole season. There’s not too much else to write about the Niners. They’re a disaster. Blaine Gabbert is their starter.BLAINE_GABBERT_49ERS

Tony’s Thursday Night Pick

The Rams offense is terrible outside of Todd Gurley, as we mentioned earlier. The Bucs run defense is pretty good though. As long as Jameis Winston takes care of the ball I think the Bus will win.

The Pick: Tampa +2.5
