New York Jets QB, Geno Smith, and now former teammate, I.K. Enemkpali, got into a fight in the locker room today. The fight led to I.K. sucker punching Geno Smith, which resulted in the QB fracturing his jaw. Sources have said the they believe the reason the fight happened was because I.K. had a mini camp Smith was suppose to attend, but Smith had a friend die in an accident which made him unable to make it. I.K. had bought Smith’s plane ticket prior to the accident and expected Smith to repay him for that. Well Smith had no intentions to repay him and one thing led to another and before you knew it the QB was on the ground with a fractured jaw. I.K. has had a history with battery charges, before he was drafted in 2014 he had a battery charge against a police officer, but after he hit the teams starting quarterback, that was enough for the Jets organization to part ways with I.K. Enemkpali.

Here’s a Jets team that is already not that good and struggles in the quarterback area. With their starting quarterback out for at least the first few games of the season, it may be enough to really hurt their playoff chances. One thing we know for sure is, former Jets head coach, Rex Ryan, is in Buffalo right now very happy he’s away from this circus, that is known as the New York Jets.
