Toledo VS BYU
BYU is 1-3 to start this season, but it’s not because they aren’t good it’s because they’ve had a tough schedule. Arizona, Utah, UCLA, and West Virginia. They’ve had a good game against every single one of those teams. And BYU is definitely a program that never gives up. You know they come out every single game and give it everything they have. With this being the easiest opponent they’ve faced so far and it being at home in the altitude I expect them to dominate. Don’t let the records food you in this matchup. Take the Cougars.
Tony’s Pick: BYU -4
Louisville Vs Clemson
Louisville has been arguably the best team in the NCAA this season and this matchup will be their toughest of the season. They travel to Clemson to take on the #5 ranked Tigers. If Louisville wins this game then you can more than likely expect to see them in the College Football playoffs this season. Louisville quarterback, Lamar Jackson, is already a huge favorite to win the Heisman trophy this season. Unless he gets injured there’s no way he doesn’t get it this season. And if the Cardinals win this game, especially if it’s in incredible fashion then I’ll be convinced they’re the best team in the country (sorry Alabama).
Tony’s Pick: Louisville -3
Utah Vs California
The Cal offense this year has been very impressive. They’ve been able to score a lot of points every week. Utah has been barely sneaking by opponents so far. They only beat BYU by 1 and had a late touchdown against USC to win, and both those games were at home. Cal had an impressive win a couple weeks ago when they were at home against Texas and I expect another result like that this weekend. I just think in the end Cal’s offense is going to be too much for Utah and they’re going to come out on top in this one. Take the Golden Bears to cover the small spread at home.
