We went 1-2 last week pushing our season record to 4-5.
Oakland Raiders Vs Chicago Bears
The Raiders visit the Chicago Bears in week 4 with a chance to start off 3-1. This is weird to say but the Raiders are by far the better team in this road game. The Bears are an absolutely awful team and with Jimmy Clausen at QB makes it that much worse. Clausen goes into this game with a lifetime 1-11 record as a starter. The Bears defense is awful and their offense might be even worse. When you look at the standings Monday morning expect to see the Raiders at 3-1.
Tony’s Pick: Raiders -3
Carolina Panthers Vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Panthers are 3-0 but are probably the worst of all the undefeated teams left. I’m still not sold on Carolina and because of that I’m not sold on them to cover the spread in this game. Ever since the first game of the season Winston has actually looked alright. It helps him a lot now that he has his best receiver back, Mike Evans. Will Tampa Bay win this game? I have no idea, but will they cover the spread? Yes.
Tony’s Pick: Buccaneers +3.5
New York Jets Vs Miami Dolphins
Here is a big divisional rivalry with the Jets and Dolphins. The Jets have started this season off better than most expected at 2-1, while the Dolphins are only 1-2. Both these teams have mediocre offenses, but both have solid defenses. The interesting thing about this game is that it’s not in America, but in London! I’m sure the people of London wanted to see some high scoring and exciting football, but if that was the case they’d be seeing New England or Green Bay. Instead what they will see is two division rivals go at it in a good defensive football game. I don’t think the people over in England will see too many points in this one.
