Tony’s Football Picks Of The Week – Week 4

Detroit Lions VS Chicago Bears

These are two of the lower teams in the NFL. Both of these teams have some solid players on offense, but both also have pretty bad defenses. The Chicago Bears came close to making the game interesting this Sunday night against the Dallas Cowboys. They showed good life late in the game. I believe that with the Bears coming back home against a mediocre opponent in the Detroit Lions that they’ll find  a way to get their first win of the season. Take the Bears in this one.

Tony’s Pick: Bears +3

Dallas Cowboys Vs San Francisco 49ers

The Dallas Cowboys have surprised people with how well they’ve looked so far this season with Dak Prescott at QB. I think they should have no problem continuing to look good here on the road against the niners. The 49ers are 1-2 this season and aren’t really that good. The 49ers were predicted to be one of the worst teams in the NFL this season and when they shut out the Rams week 1 people got all giddy about them. Well, guess what? They suck. If Dallas plays the way they have recently then this will be an easy spread cover for them. Take the boys in this one.

Tony’s Pick: Dallas -3

New Orleans Saints Vs San Diego Chargers

The New Orleans Saints plain and simple…SUCK. They’re traveling to San Diego on a short week with just having a game this past Monday. The Chargers are a very tough team to figure out so far this season. They looked really good week 1 and then blew a late lead and then came back week 2 and absolutely crushed the Jaguars. The Chargers always have a solid pass attack with Phillip Rivers, and now that Melvin Gordon is doing well on the ground it makes their offense even more dangerous. With how bad the Saints defense is I expect the Chargers to be able to tear up their defense. I also expect the Chargers decent defense to be able to contain an aging Drew Brees. I personally don’t think this matchup is going to be close at all.

Tony’s Pick: Chargers -4
