We’re nearing the end of the season and it’s that time of the year where a bunch of players are out because they’re “injured”. Don’t play those guys. Play these guys instead.
Big Cost, Big Points – Ben Roethlisberger (PIT)
Roethlisberger has been great this season, when he actually plays. This week he’s playing a must win game against their most hated rival, who happens to be really bad on defense. All the makings for a great game for Big Ben.
Value Play – Teddy Bridgewater (MIN)
Bridgewater has been great as of late and the Giants pass defense has struggled all year.
Others – Blake Bortles (JAC), Cam Newton (CAR), Matthew Stafford (DET)
There’s a lot of good QB plays this week.
Big Cost, Big Points – Doug Martin (TB)
Martin has had a fantastic season and he should have another great game against the Bears soft run defense.
Value Play – Karlos Williams (BUF)
Lesean McCoy is out so Williams should see an increase in carries.
Others – David Johnson (ARI), Charcandrick West (KC)
David Johnson has had some good game since taking over as starter. West has a nice matchup this week and isn’t too costly.
Big Cost, Big Points – Antonio Brown (PIT)
If you’re going with Big Ben, pick Brown as well. He’s the best receiver in the NFL.
Value Play – Stefon Diggs (MIN)
Diggs has had a solid rookie year and is Bridgewater’s top target in Minnesota.
Others – Allen Robinson (JAC), Jeremy Maclin (KC)
Great matchups for these number one receivers.
Big Cost, Big Points – Greg Olsen (CAR)
With the way Cam Newton’s been playing, Olsen is always a good pick to score a bunch of points at tight end.
Value Play – Eric Ebron (DET)
Go with Ebron again. He’s really cheap and is going against another bad defense.
Others – Travis Kelce (KC), Julius Thomas (TE)
If you pick Robinson at receiver, go with Kelce. If you’re going with Maclin, pick Thomas at tight end.
Big Cost, Big Points – Seahawks
Seattle has been on fire and faces Case Keenum at home.
Value Play – Dolphins
The Dolphins face an injured, 40 year old, Matt Hasselbeck.
Others – Lions, Chiefs
Two different defenses but both face bad offenses.
