Week 4 Daily Fantasy Picks

It’s the first week of byes in the NFL. Titans and Patriots fans, if you need a reason to watch the games tomorrow, play daily fantasy. Here’s our picks for the week:

Big Cost, Big Points – Aaron Rodgers (GB)

Rodgers is a very safe play. He always puts up numbers and he faces an incredibly soft 49ers pass defense.

Value Play – Derek Carr (OAK)

DEREK_CARR_RAIDERSCarr has been really good so far in his second year. His price is still low and he gets to face the Bears who have already given up on the season three games in.

Others – Andrew Luck (IND), Kirk Cousins (WAS)

Luck goes against another bad defense in his division and will continue to throw a lot. Cousins is really cheap and should throw the ball a bunch against Philly.

Andrew Luck will not play today. Don’t start him.

Running Backs

Big Cost, Big Points – Matt Forte (CHI)

With Jimmy Clausen starting, the Bears will look to get Forte a lot of touches. He’ll do more with them against the Raiders defense.

Value Play – Karlos Williams (BUF)

Williams is this week’s Devonta Freeman. Williams has impressed in limited touches for the Bills and now will be in the starting lineup with LeSean McCoy out.

Others – Devonta Freeman (ATL), Isaiah Crowell (CLE)

Freeman was amazing last week and is still only medium priced. Crowell faces the Chargers who have given up a bunch of points to running backs.

Wide Receivers

Big Cost, Big Points – A.J. Green (CIN)

Green reminded everyone that he might be the best receiver in the NFL last week. This week he faces the Chiefs who are having problems in the secondary.

Value Play – Marvin Jones (CIN)

Yes, I just picked guys from the same team. No, don’t pick them both but I do recommend playing at least one of them. Jones price is way too low.

Others – James Jones (GB), Amari Cooper (OAK)

Jones still has a mid range price but it’s clear that Aaron Rodgers is comfortable throwing to him. Cooper is definitely Derek Carr’s number one target and we expect Carr to have a nice game.

Tight Ends

Big Cost, Big Points – Jordan Reed (WAS)

When you play the Eagles your team ends up throwing a lot. Reed should see a bunch of targets.

Value Play – Charles Clay (BUF)

Tyrod Taylor has been fantastic but he’s down one of his top targets this week in Sammy Watkins. Expect more passes to Clay this week.

Others – Martellus Bennett (CHI)

He’s the Bears best pass catcher right now. He’ll get targets.

Big Cost, Big Points – Cardinals

The Cardinals defense can’t keep scoring return touchdowns but they’re still good. Their opponent this week, the Rams, have struggled on offense.

Value Play – Raiders

The Raiders defense isn’t good so it’s very cheap. They play the Bears though who are just awful.

Others – Packers

The 49ers have really struggled on offense this year. I think the Packers might force some turnovers too.
