Week 7 Daily Fantasy Picks

It’s week 7. Remember not to play any Bears, Bengals, Packers, or Broncos this week.

Big Cost, Big Points – Andrew Luck (IND)

Luck is finally healthy and he almost always puts up numbers, even when they don’t play that well. He gets to face the Saints this week who really can’t stop anybody.

Value Play – Landry Jones

Landry Jones is expected to start this week for the Steelers. He has a nice matchup against the Chiefs as well as a number of great weapons.

Others – Carson Palmer (ARI), Ryan Tannehill (MIA)

Carson Palmer is still way too cheap. The Dolphins looked much better last week under a new coach and Houston’s pass defense is secretly terrible even with J.J. Watt getting after the quarterback.

Running Backs

Big Cost, Big Points – Devonta Freeman (ATL)

The Titans can’t stop the run and they can’t score. I expect a lot of opportunities and a lot of production for the highest scoring fantasy player in the league.

Value Play – Todd Gurley (STL)

For some reason, Todd Gurley’s price is still low. He’s averaged over 150 yards in his last two games and faces a Browns defense that is allowing 5 yards per carry.

Others – Latavius Murray (OAK), Doug Martin (TB), Frank Gore (IND), Chris Ivory (NYJ)

There’s a ton of good running backs to play. It’s going to be hard this week to just pick two.

Wide Receivers

Big Cost, Big Points – Deandre Hopkins (HOU)

Hopkins is averaging fifteen targets per game. He’s a very ow risk play now. He’s going to get numbers every week.

Value Play – Stefon Diggs (MIN)

The rookie Diggs has 216 yards in his last two games. He’s definitely won a starting job with Minnesota.

Others – Larry Fitzgerald (ARI), T.Y. Hilton (IND)

Fitzgerald keeps producing. Hilton hasn’t been so great this year which means his price has fallen. He’s still Luck’s number one target.

Tight Ends

Big Cost, Big Points – Travis Kelce (KC)

The Chiefs will probably be forced to throw the ball a lot this week. The Steelers have struggled defending tight ends this year.

Value Play – Delanie Walker (TEN)

The Titans will be playing from behind and Zach Mettenberger will be relying on his tight end to move the ball.

Others – Antonio Gates (SD)

Gates is hurt but if he plays through the injury he has nice matchup against the Raiders, who are allowing the most fantasy points to tight ends this year.

Big Cost, Big Points – Falcons

The Falcons get to face a backup quarterback on a team that sucks on offense with their starter.

Value Play – Vikings

The Lions commit a ton of turnovers and can’t block. The Vikings attack the quarterback well and should get a few sacks and force at least one turnover.

Others – Giants

The Cowboys are still without Dez Bryant. Matt Cassell is starting. The Giants should keep them under twenty points.
