It’s week 8. We now have a better idea of who’s good and who’s not. We know which defenses can play and which ones suck. It makes picking Daily Fantasy players a little easier. That means it’s easier for everyone. Here’s our picks:
Big Cost, Big Points – Matt Ryan (ATL)
Matt Ryan hasn’t had a big game in a while but I think that changes on Sunday. The Bucs pass defense couldn’t stop Kirk Cousins last week. How will they stop Ryan and Julio Jones?
Value Play – Teddy Bridgewater (MIN)
Bridgewater has been playing better every week but he’s still very cheap.
Others – Andy Dalton (CIN)
The Steelers defense has been solid but they’re still not that good at stopping the pass. Andy Dalton will want to show everyone that the Bengals are the clear leader in the AFC North.
Big Cost, Big Points – Adrian Peterson
The Bears defense just isn’t good anywhere. Peterson should be able to run all over them.
Value Play – Alfred Blue (HOU)
Blue will be replacing Arian Foster in the starting lineup. He gets to face a bad Titans run defense in his first week as starter.
Others – Todd Gurley (STL), Justin Forsett (BAL), Chris Johnson (ARI)
Keep going with Gurley. He might already be the best running back in the NFL. Forsett and Johnson have great matchups against the two worst run defenses (San Diego and Cleveland).
Big Cost, Big Points – Julio Jones (ATL)
Julio is finally healthy again. He should have a huge game against Tampa.
Value Play – Stefon Diggs
Diggs is still really cheap. Pair him with Bridgewater for an incredible value.
Others – AJ Green (CIN)
If Andy Dalton does have a great game it will likely be due to AJ Green.
Big Cost, Big Points – Tyler Eifert
The Steelers pass defense is weak, especially at defending tight ends. If you don’t go with Green, pick Eifert.
Value Play – Ladarius Green (SD)
If Gates is out, Green should have another solid week.
Others – Martellus Bennett (CHI)
Bennett is still a top target in Chicago. He’ll make some catches against Minnesota.
Big Cost, Big Points – Seahawks
Even if Dez plays he won’t have much of an impact for the Cowboys. Seattle should be able to shut down the Cowboy’s offense.
Value Play – Vikings
The Vikings get sacks. Jay cutler doesn’t deal all that well with pressure.
Others – Rams
The Rams gets to face Colin Kaepernick who really can’t handle pressure. That Rams D-line will get after poor Colin.
