Week 9 Daily Fantasy Picks

We’ve reached week 9 of the 2015 season. We’re at the halfway point. Six teams have byes, leaving us with a smaller pool of players to choose from. There’s still a ton of good picks though.

Big Cost, Big Points – Tom Brady (NE)

The Redskins aren’t good and Brady always puts up numbers. I think their are better values this week but Brady should once again be the top scoring QB.

Value Play – Ryan Fitzpatrick (NYJ)

I don’t like to play guys coming off injuries (like Roethlisberger last week), but the Jets are coming off back to back losses and get the Jaguars at home. I’m thinking they’ll score a ton of points

Others – Eli Manning (NYG)

You never know what you’re going to get with Eli but on the whole, he’s been good. He has a nice matchup with Tampa this week.

Running Backs

Big Cost, Big Points – Devonta Freeman (ATL)

The Niners defense is awful. Freeman is still getting yards every week. I think he’ll get some scores this week to go with his yards.

Value Play – Jeremy Langford (CHI)

Matt Forte is out and the Chargers can’t stop the run. Langford will get most of his touches.

Others – Todd Gurley (STL), Melvin Gordon (SD), Ronnie Hillman (DEN)

Gurley is amazing and has a decent matchup. The Chargers season is already over. Why not see what you got in Gordon. If Hillman plays, he has a really nice matchup against the Colts.

Wide Receivers

Big Cost, Big Points – Odell Beckham Jr. (NYG)

Beckham is healthy again. He should dominate.

Value Play – Stevie Johnson or Dontrelle Inman (SD)

The Chargers will likely still throw a ton. I think both will see some passes and both are incredibly cheap.

Others – Amari Cooper (OAK), Julio Jones (ATL), Mike Evans (TB)

All these guys are great and they all play bad pass defenses this week.

Tight Ends

Big Cost, Big Points – Rob Gronkowski (NE)

He’s the best tight end by far. Not even close.

Value Play – Charles Clay (BUF)

Clay faces his former team, the Dolphins, who aren’t that great at pass defense.

Others – Martellus Bennet (CHI), Delanie Walker (TEN)

Decent tight ends, good matchups.

Big Cost, Big Points – Rams

The Vikings aren’t a horrible offense but they’re not good either. The Rams defense has been great as of late.

Value Play – Saints

The Titans are horrible on offense and now they fired their coach. I don’t think they’ll get better.

Others – Eagles, Falcons

The Cowboys without Romo suck and the Eagles are actually good on defense. The Falcons play the Niners who are starting Blaine Gabbert this week. The last year Gabbert started he had a 36.0 passer rating.
